What are the typical working hours?

Most of the team member start their day sometime around 8-10 AM Jakarta time (UTC+7) and end the work day around 5-7 PM. This is not a requirement but most of us working around these hours. We trust you to know when and where you’ll be at your most productive – you set your own schedule.

To make sure it works for everyone, we follow these guidelines:

  • Please share your usual working time with the team and project manager.
  • If you work outside of the usual working hours, please discuss it with your team and project manager. Be mindful of your team mates schedules.

When is the payday?

We pay our team members on the 28th of each month. If the 28th falls on a weekend, we will pay you on the first working day after the 28th. If you are a freelancer, we will pay you no later than 7 days after you submit your timesheet and invoice.

Can I work remotely?

Absolutely! You can work from anywhere as long as you have a good internet connection. We have team members working from different cities and countries. We use Slack, ClickUp, and Google Workspace to stay connected and collaborate effectively.

Can I work in the office?

Absolutely too! There are some team members who prefer to work in the office. We have a cozy office in Bali, Indonesia. You can work in the office if you want to. We have a flexible working environment.

Do I need to bring my own laptop?

We provide you with a work laptop (Macbook) for security reasons.

What is the main language used in the team?

The main language used in the team is English. We use English in all of our communication tools, such as Slack, ClickUp, and Google Workspace. We understand that not everyone is fluent in English, so we encourage you to be confident and don’t hesitate ask questions if you don’t understand something. We are all learning and growing together.

What if I’m sick?

Hope you get well soon! If you are sick and can’t work, please notify your team and project manager as soon as possible. You can take a sick leave and rest. We will support you and make sure you get well soon.

If you’re sick for more than two consecutive days, we’ll need a doctor’s note (for legal/tax reasons).

How do I request a day off?

If you need to take a day off, please notify your team and project manager at most 5 days in advance, preferably 2 week in advance. You can request a day off by submitting a request in Gadjian. We will review your request and approve it if it doesn’t affect the project timeline. For more details please see our Requesting Time-off guideline.
